I am on the top row... the one in the black dress with the shorter hair. The other girl in the black is my friend Katie. Mrs. Tawa let us wear our concert black for choir when everyone is wearing their white shirts.

This is the very last songs that we did. There is about 300 people on the stage.

Wind Ensamble. Every year at Canyon View High School, we do a huge combined Christmas concert. When I say huge, I mean every band, choir, and the orchestra. The audience is full, with some people standing. It is such an amazing concert. For the music department to do this is amazing. In many other schools, the people in the music department fight, and have their own separate concerts. We have done this for a long long time. This year we played Vivaldi's "Gloria." It is a 12 movement piece, but we only did 3 movements. It was very challenging to play, but in the end it was all worth it.
The very best thing about this concert was that I relized how much I love to play the violin. I have always loved it, but last night it really hit me. It is such a blessing to have music in my life. I use it everyday, and it makes me feel happy.
